Position Overview

Responsibility for monitoring and reporting on Markets, Competitor and Consumer Trends and identifying opportunities that will fit with the Business and Brands Strategy and positioning and translate them into product proposals, that will then be taken forward for in Store Trials testing.  Co-Ordination and preparation of testing samples for the Eroski and Tesco Trial stores and maintenance of stock replenishment and sales reporting to support and justify new product launches is a key part of this role.   

Responsibilities

• To research and be aware of upcoming trends within Beauty and other Lifestyle Sectors to be able to identify seedling Trends.
• Analyse, monitor, and report on markets, competitor, and consumer activity to identify opportunities for growth with statistical justification.
• Working closely with the broader Marketing Team and Sales to ensure NPD concepts fit Brand/Business Strategy with available Sales Channels and achievable RSPs.
• Identify innovation opportunities with back up marketing data and proactively work with Technical/NPD team to develop the right product concepts/Innovation.
• Prepare clear and concise briefs for new Business Opportunities across Brands, with clear, Product Requirements, Specs, Target Costs, Markets and Justification to ensure efficient use of resources; being aware of creative lead times, deadlines, and any business restraints.
• Preparation and maintenance of Trial Stores Testing Forward Planogram to ensure visibility of sample requirements and Trials data availability for business and resource planning.
• Manage and prepare samples, stock replenishment & trial stores requirements, collating data, technical reporting and translating with a detailed overview on a weekly basis.
• Copy writing to agency level for Products and PR articles, ensuring Brand Handwriting and personality is maintained.
• Co-ordination of Copy approvals through the Technical Teams, in line with Timeline requirements, to ensure regulatory and market compliance. 
• Support with the preparation of Sales Materials/Samples where required.
• Maintain Sample library within the regional office and live products overview.
• Build cross company relationships through open communications and clear understanding of Product Development requirements.
